#25 – Memorize a Bible verse a week for 6 months. 22/24

While this blog post (and the 10 to follow… I’m playing a bit of catch-up) are wayyyyy overdue, I could not think of a more perfect verse to write about today than Jeremiah 29:11.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Thinking about marriage and starting a new life with Will definitely brings me to my knees with thankfulness when I acknowledge the Lord. He has brought us here and now His plan is to continue our journey alongside us with hope and prosperity. Beautiful promise of a beautiful life no matter the circumstances 🙂

I was absolutely knocked off my feet when we went to Alaska by the Lord’s beauty… Far more than I expected because it was far more beautiful than any picture I’d ever seen. The mountains so high, the sea so green-blue, the forests that met the oceans, and the wildlife that was free and happy… Just as it was intended to be. And it brought me to this verse. Who created all of this? Obviously someone who knows and appreciates beauty. Obviously someone who cares. And obviously someone who is much, much bigger than everything in our sight. How powerful!
