I don’t even know where to begin this blog post, so I’ll probably just keep it short and sappy.
July 13th 2013 was without question the best day of my life. I was surrounded by the most incredible friends and family. All of whom travelled from every corner of the state to be with me and were constantly encouraging me, praying with me, and rejoicing with me. I was treated like a princess. From flowers in my dressing room at the church from my then-fiance to literally being viewed as royalty by my 3-year-old flower girls. Will & I were able to profess our faith in Jesus and our commitment to one another for life in front of an amazing cloud of witnesses. And after the party was over (which was SO STINKING MUCH FUN by the way) I got to ride away in a Bentley with my best friend, my number one, my HUSBAND!! And come to the realization that I’ll get to spend every day from here on out just like that… with him 🙂
People say your wedding day is a blur. But ours isn’t to me. At least it’s not yet. I remember every moment so clearly. Every hug from loved ones. Every dance move on the dance floor. And especially every single look, smile, kiss, and word spoken by my beloved. It was the best day.
The details were fun to plan. The day was fun to celebrate. But the best is yet to come.
